What is Fianto?
Fianto is software for collecting USDC subscriptions and one-off payments on Solana. Payments move directly from the payer's wallet to the wallet the merchant nominates. Fianto never holds the merchant's funds.
What is a stablecoin subscription?
A recurring payment in a stablecoin such as USDC, collected from the customer's wallet on a schedule after the customer approves it once. With Fianto the schedule and the cap are enforced on Solana by a public program, and the money goes straight to the merchant's wallet.
Does Fianto hold the money?
No. Every payment is a Solana transaction from the customer's wallet to the wallet the merchant nominates. There is no Fianto balance and no payout to wait for.
What does it cost?
No Fianto fee during the beta, and the merchant never pays a network fee. Fianto pays the Solana network fee and the account rent when the customer subscribes. The customer pays a flat fee with every subscription charge, 0.01 USDC today.
Which tokens and networks work?
USDC on Solana. Other tokens and networks are not accepted yet.
What happens when a renewal fails?
Nothing is taken and the subscription is past due. Fianto tries again after an hour, six hours and a day. If the fourth try fails, the subscription ends and that period is never charged later.
Do I need to write code?
No. Create a product, open a shop, pick a theme and share the link. Developers can use the SDK for Next.js, Hono or Express and signed webhooks instead.
