Acceptable Use Policy
- Fianto may only be used by lawful businesses that deal honestly with their customers.
- Some businesses are never allowed. Others need our written approval before the first collection.
- If a merchant breaks this policy, we may stop sending collections for them. We cannot touch money that has already moved, because we never hold it.
This summary helps you read the policy. It does not replace it.
1. Who this applies to
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to every merchant that uses Fianto, to everyone who uses a merchant's Fianto account, and to what a merchant sells through Fianto, including through payment links, checkout pages and the API. It also applies to payers who use Fianto's pages.
Fianto is software that submits collections on Solana; it does not hold funds. That does not change what we are willing to be associated with. We decide whether a business falls under this policy, and we may ask for information to decide. We may update the lists in this policy at any time to comply with law or the requirements of our providers, or to manage risk; an update takes effect when published.
2. Prohibited businesses and activities
You may not use Fianto for, or in connection with, any of the following:
- Anything illegal where you operate or where your customers are, or anything that helps someone else break the law.
- Unlicensed gambling: casinos, betting, lotteries, games of chance with a prize, and prediction markets, unless licensed and approved under section 3.
- Unlicensed financial services: money transmission, currency exchange, crypto exchange or on-ramp services, lending, deposit taking, payment services for third parties, or custody, where a licence is required and you do not hold it.
- Investment schemes: unregistered securities, promised or guaranteed returns, yield or "staking" programmes offered to the public without authorisation, Ponzi and pyramid schemes, and multi-level marketing that pays for recruitment.
- Laundering and evasion tools: mixers, tumblers or services designed to hide where money came from, to evade sanctions or to get around another provider's controls.
- Weapons: firearms, parts, ammunition, explosives and weapons designed to injure.
- Drugs: illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, prescription medicines sold without the required licence, and products marketed with unproven health claims.
- Sexual exploitation: any material involving minors, non-consensual content, and sexual services. Other adult content is restricted under section 3.
- Fraud and deception: fake goods or services, deceptive marketing, get-rich-quick offers, fake reviews, phishing, impersonation, and selling stolen data, accounts or credentials.
- Infringement: counterfeit goods and anything that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Violence and hate: content or organisations that promote violence, terrorism or hatred against people for who they are.
- Charging on behalf of others: using your account to collect for another business, unless we have approved you as a platform under section 3.
3. Businesses that need our approval first
These are allowed only after we have reviewed them and confirmed in writing. We may ask for licences, legal opinions or proof of how you protect customers, and we may attach conditions or lower limits.
| Business | What we usually ask for |
|---|---|
| Licensed gambling and gaming with prizes | The licence for each country you serve, and how you block people in countries where you are not licensed |
| Forex, CFDs, proprietary trading and other investment services | Your authorisation from the relevant regulator |
| Crypto services such as wallets, exchanges and staking | Registrations or licences, and your own compliance programme |
| Platforms that let other sellers get paid | How you verify and monitor your sellers |
| Adult content between consenting adults | Age and consent checks for everyone who appears, and age checks for buyers |
| Dating and social discovery | How you handle safety reports and fake profiles |
| Nutraceuticals, CBD and similar products | Where you sell and the rules you follow there |
| Charities and political organisations | Registration and where donations go |
| Financial or investment education and signals | What you promise customers, and your refund terms |
4. Sanctions
You may not use Fianto if you, your owners, or anyone who controls your business is the subject of sanctions imposed by the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United Arab Emirates, or is located in a comprehensively sanctioned country or region. You may not use Fianto to collect from, or pay, anyone in that position.
We screen merchants, their owners and wallet addresses against sanctions lists before collections start and again when relevant lists are updated, in line with our legal obligations. When there is a possible match, we may pause collections while we check it, and we may be required by law to report it. We may not be able to tell you why.
5. Fair subscriptions
A subscription is a promise to charge someone again. When you use Fianto for recurring charges, you must:
- Say clearly, before your customer approves, what they pay, how often, when the first charge is, and how to cancel.
- Keep a cancellation route that is at least as easy as signing up. The customer portal and the wallet's own controls count, and you must not obstruct them.
- Not use free trials, pre-ticked boxes, hidden terms or confusing designs to get a permission the customer did not mean to give.
- Follow the laws on automatic renewal, notice and cancellation where your customers live.
- Send refunds you owe from your own wallet, promptly.
6. Technical misuse
- Do not attack, probe or overload Fianto, its API, or the networks it uses, or try to get around rate limits or security controls.
- Do not create several accounts to get around limits, reviews or a suspension.
- Do not use Fianto to send spam, or send payment links to people who did not ask for them.
- Do not reverse engineer or copy the service, except where the law allows it.
- Do not pay yourself through Fianto to create fake volume or to move money between your own wallets.
7. What we do when this policy is broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may ask you to change something, lower your limits, stop sending collections for some or all of your products, close your account, and report to authorities where the law requires it. We may, at our discretion, tell you first and give you time to fix it, and we may act without notice.
We cannot freeze, reverse or take money that has already moved: every payment settles directly in your wallet, and your customers' permissions stay in their wallets. Stopping collections is the tool we have, and we use it.
8. Report a merchant
If you think a business is using Fianto in a way this policy does not allow, write to support@fianto.xyz with "Report" in the subject. Include the merchant's name, the payment link or wallet address, and what happened. If you paid a merchant and have a problem with what you bought, contact the merchant first: they are the seller, and refunds come from them.
