USDC subscriptions: a fixed dollar amount, every period, straight to your wallet.

Updated October 2026By Fianto

A USDC subscription is a recurring payment in USDC, Circle's dollar stablecoin, collected on Solana from the customer's wallet after one approval. The merchant sets a price in USDC, the customer approves once, and each period the exact price lands in the merchant's wallet. Fianto takes no fee during the beta and never holds the money.

Why USDC for subscriptions

A subscription needs a price that means the same thing next month. USDC is a dollar stablecoin, so a 19.00 USDC plan is a 19.00 USDC plan in every period, with no conversion at checkout and no exchange rate to explain. It is the stablecoin Fianto accepts today, on Solana; other tokens and networks are not accepted yet.

What the customer needs

  • A Solana wallet: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, MetaMask, or another through WalletConnect.
  • USDC for the price, plus the flat network fee each charge carries, 0.01 USDC today.
  • A little SOL for the network fee of the transaction they sign, under $0.01, and for account rent: the subscription account, about 0.00197 SOL today, which comes back when they reclaim it after the subscription ends, and on the wallet's first subscription a one-time setup account that is not returned.

The hosted checkout lists all of it before the wallet opens. The customer signs once; every later period is collected within the cap they approved.

What lands in your wallet

The price, exactly. There is no Fianto fee during the beta, the merchant never pays a network fee, and there is no payout to wait for: the USDC goes from the customer's wallet to yours in the collection transaction itself, and the dashboard shows the transaction signature. Any later Fianto fee is added on top of your price, paid by the customer, with at least 30 days notice.

Pricing a plan in USDC

  • A price is monthly (every 30 days) or yearly (every 365 days), and at least 0.01 USDC.
  • A price cannot be changed on an existing subscription. To charge more, add a new price; existing subscribers keep what they approved.
  • Ending a price stops new subscriptions to it, and cancels the ones already running at the end of their current period.

Refunds, chargebacks and tax

There are no chargebacks. A refund is the merchant sending USDC back from its own wallet. Sales tax and VAT are the merchant's to handle; Fianto does not calculate, collect or file tax. The dashboard exports collections as CSV for the books.

Start without code, or with it

Without code: create a product with a monthly price, open a shop, pick a theme and share the link. Customers subscribe from the shop, approve once, and renew automatically. With code: create a checkout session from your server with the SDK for Next.js, Hono or Express, and grant or revoke access from signed webhooks. Both paths are in how to accept USDC payments on Solana and in the post stablecoin subscriptions on Solana.

Questions

Questions about USDC subscriptions.

Where does a customer get USDC on Solana?

From any exchange or wallet that supports USDC on Solana. Fianto does not sell or swap tokens.

Can I price in dollars and collect in USDC?

Prices are set in USDC. Since USDC is a dollar stablecoin, a 19.00 USDC price reads as a 19.00 dollar price; the pricing page counts 1 USDC as $1 in its comparisons.

Does Fianto convert USDC to dollars for me?

No. The USDC lands in your own wallet. What you do with it after that is up to you.

Can a customer pay a yearly plan in USDC?

Yes. A yearly price is collected every 365 days with the same one approval and the same cap.

Bill in USDC without holding a cent.

Your customer approves once. The program checks every collection.
