Taking USDC for a real business: API plans, courses, communities, newsletters, freelance work, tickets and licence keys.
USDC payment gateway for SaaS: what to check before you pick one
Before a USDC gateway bills your SaaS plans, check five things first: whether renewals are pulled automatically or invoiced, who holds the money between your customer and you, who pays the fees, whether webhooks are signed and replayable, and what the customer needs to cancel. Fianto pulls renewals on chain within a cap the customer approved, sends the money straight to your wallet, charges you nothing, and signs every webhook. It has no free trials, no usage billing, no proration and no test mode, so check those against your plans before you start.
Use casesAccept USDC for API and RPC plans: tiers, sessions and key webhooks
To accept USDC for API plans, make each tier a recurring USDC price, create a subscription checkout session when a signed-in account picks a tier, and let four webhook events drive the API key: issue it on subscription.created, extend it on subscription.renewed, decide on a grace rule at subscription.past_due, and revoke it on subscription.ended. Store the paid-until date from each event and check it on every request, so a missed webhook can never keep a key alive past what was paid. The customer approves once; Fianto collects every 30 or 365 days and sends the money straight to your wallet.
Use casesStripe closed my account: USDC as a second payment rail
If Stripe closed your account or put a reserve on your payouts, a USDC rail on Solana removes the part that hurt most: there is no processor balance, so there is nothing to hold back, and a finalized payment is in your own wallet. It does not remove review. Fianto approves every merchant by hand under an acceptable-use policy that forbids many of the same businesses card processors refuse, and USDC only reaches customers who already hold it, so treat it as a second rail beside cards, not a way around a ban.
Use casesDevelopersPaid Discord roles with USDC: a bot, a checkout and two webhook events
To sell a Discord role for USDC, run a bot that holds the Manage Roles permission, let a /join command open a Fianto subscription checkout with the member's Discord user ID as the customer reference, and add or remove the role when Fianto's subscription.created and subscription.ended webhooks arrive. Fianto has no Discord integration of its own: it collects the USDC into your wallet and tells your server what happened, and your bot does the Discord part.
Use casesSell an online course for USDC: shop, Zapier enrolment or coupon codes
Keep the course where it is and sell it from a Fianto shop: when a buyer pays in USDC, the shop sends a purchase.paid event to a Zapier or Make webhook, and an action such as Teachable's "Enroll User in Course" or Kajabi's "Grant Access to an Offer" enrols the buyer's email. For a one-time course with no automation at all, paste single-use coupon codes from your course platform as delivery codes, one per buyer.
Use casesProductSell licence keys and game keys for USDC with shop delivery codes
Fianto's shop sells licence keys and game keys through delivery codes: you paste your keys into a product, each buyer who pays in USDC gets exactly one, on the receipt and in the buyer email, and the product shows as sold out when none are left. A product holds up to 5,000 unused keys, a key is reserved while its buyer pays so two buyers never get the same one, and you are emailed when five or fewer remain.
Use casesA paid Telegram group or channel for USDC: join requests, webhooks and removal
A paid Telegram group on USDC works best with a join-request link: anyone can ask to join, your bot sends people who have not paid a Fianto checkout link, and it approves the request once Fianto's subscription.created webhook confirms the payment. When subscription.ended arrives, one Bot API call removes the member. Fianto collects the USDC into your wallet every 30 or 365 days; the Telegram side is a small bot you run.
Use casesStripe isn't available in my country: Atlas, a merchant of record or USDC
When Stripe does not support the country your business is based in, three routes remain: form a company in a supported country (Stripe Atlas forms a US company for a one-time $500), sell through a merchant of record such as Paddle or Lemon Squeezy (both 5% + 50¢ a sale as of 15 October 2026), or take USDC on Solana straight into your own wallet. USDC is the narrowest of the three: it reaches only customers who already hold USDC, it pays you in USDC rather than local money, and Fianto reviews every business by hand before it can take a payment.
Use casesAccept USDC for an AI app: monthly credits and one-off packs
An AI app can take USDC with two Fianto products: a monthly price that grants a set number of credits each time a period is paid, and one-off checkout sessions that sell credit packs on top. Fianto charges fixed amounts only, with no metering or usage-based billing, so the credit balance lives in your own database and webhooks tell it when to add credits. You pay nothing per charge; on a 5.00 pack, a US card would cost you $0.445 at Stripe's published rate.
Use casesGet paid in USDC as a freelancer or agency: project links and monthly retainers
To get paid in USDC as a freelancer, create a Fianto payment link for each project fee with "Ends when full" set to 1, so it closes after one paid payment, and a monthly payment link for a retainer, which your client approves once and which then renews every 30 days. The USDC goes from the client's wallet to yours in one Solana transaction and you pay nothing; the client pays the small network fees. Fianto has no invoices: send your own invoice and put the link in it.
Use casesAccept USDC tips and donations: fixed tiers, monthly supporters and the approval rule
Fianto takes USDC tips at fixed amounts you choose, not at an amount the supporter types: list up to 10 prices on one "Support or tip" product in your shop, or create one payment link per tier. The supporter pays the tip plus a Solana fee under $0.01, and the full tip lands in your wallet. Charities and political organisations need Fianto's written approval before their first collection.
Use casesSell a paid newsletter for USDC: Ghost, beehiiv and Substack
Fianto has no Ghost, beehiiv or Substack integration, so a USDC newsletter is two halves: a Fianto shop takes the monthly or yearly payment, and your newsletter tool grants paid access to the reader's email. Ghost and beehiiv can do the second half through Zapier, from the shop's purchase.paid and subscription.ended events; on Substack you comp each reader by hand from a CSV export.
