On this page
- One shop per merchant at <name>.fianto.xyz, built in the dashboard: 23 themes, sections you edit, a live preview, and Publish.
- It sells one price of one product per purchase, one-time or recurring, and delivers a message, a link and, if you want, a code per buyer.
- No custom domain, no cart, no image uploads and no sitemap. You pay nothing, and there is no Fianto fee during the beta.
What is a Fianto shop?
A shop is one page of your own, plus a page per product, at an address under fianto.xyz. Each merchant has one. A buyer opens a product, clicks its button, and lands on the same hosted checkout that API integrations use. They sign one transaction from their wallet, and the price moves from their wallet to yours in that transaction. Fianto never holds the money, so there is no balance and no payout to wait for.
The address is <name>.. The name is 3 to 30 characters of lowercase letters, digits and single hyphens, and many names are reserved. An invented example: Quillfern Labs could sell its templates at quillfern.fianto.xyz. You can rename once every 30 days, and the old address redirects to the new one.
You can design a draft before Fianto approves your account. Until approval, that draft is kept in your browser only. Publishing, and taking payments, start after approval.
What can you sell from a USDC shop?
The shop sells the products you already have in the dashboard, at their prices. Each product listed in the shop has a kind, and the kind sets the default button and whether the buyer must give an email:
| Kind | Typical use | Default button | Buyer email by default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Digital | Files, templates, e-books, courses | Buy | Required |
| Service | Consulting, design work, lessons | Book | Required |
| Membership | Communities, paid newsletters, clubs | Join | Required |
| Software | Apps, licences, subscriptions | Subscribe | Optional |
| Support | Tips and donations | Support | Optional |
A price is one-time, monthly (every 30 days) or yearly (every 365 days), from 0.01 to 1,000,000 USDC. A product shows between one and ten of its prices, so a membership can offer monthly and yearly side by side, and a Plans section can let visitors switch between month and year. A shop lists at most 100 products. You can set each product's buyer email to Required, Optional or Not asked; Fianto does not verify the address.
Each purchase is one price of one product. There is no cart, no basket and no quantity. If you sell a monthly membership, see how to sell a membership for USDC for access, renewals and cancelling.
How many themes are there, and how does editing work?
There are 23 themes. Ten are classic: Ledger, Broadsheet, Console, Poster, Cloud, Swiss, Studio, Atelier, Zine and Blueprint. Thirteen are modern: Aurora, Mono, Glow, Cohort, Tiles, Inset, Tonal, Rail, Halo, Breeze, Signal, Grove and Prism. A new shop starts on Aurora, and the theme pickers filter by what you sell.
On top of a theme you choose one of 23 font pairings, an accent colour, a button style (solid, outline or hard shadow), a shape (square, rounded or pill), spacing (compact, comfortable or airy) and a mode (light, dark or auto). A cover is a colour wash behind the top section.
The page is built from sections: header, hero, products, featured product, plans, text, features, FAQ, testimonials, call to action, contact and footer. A shop has 2 to 30 of them, and each has a few layouts and five colour schemes. The editor saves as you go, has undo and redo, and shows a live preview beside it at desktop or mobile width.
How do you publish and update the shop?
- Click Publish. A checklist shows what must be fixed first, such as listing at least one product with a price, and what is worth a look, such as starter text left in place or a missing support email.
- Publish now. Your shop is live at its address, and a published change reaches visitors within about 15 seconds.
- Change it later the same way. History keeps the last 50 published versions, and any of them can be restored to your draft.
- To take it offline, Unpublish. Your draft stays, and buyers who already paid can still open their receipts.
One shop, one address, no code. You pay nothing, and there is no Fianto fee during the beta.
See who pays whatHow does a buyer get what they paid for?
Each product has its own delivery, set under "After a purchase": a message of up to 2,000 characters, an https link with a label, and, if you turn it on, delivery codes. Delivery is shown only once the payment is confirmed, on the shop's receipt page and in the buyer email.
The buyer email is the one email Fianto ever sends a payer. It goes out when the purchase is paid and the buyer gave an address, and it carries your message, your link, a link to the receipt and, for a subscription, a link to manage it. Replies go to your support email, if you set one. You get a "New sale" email at your account address or a sale address you choose.
Delivery codes
Codes give each buyer something of their own: a licence key, a voucher, an invite. Paste a list, one code per line, up to 500 at a time and 200 characters each, with up to 5,000 unused codes per product. Each paid buyer gets one code, shown after payment and in their email. Codes are stored encrypted, and a code is held while a buyer is paying so two buyers never get the same one. A subscriber keeps the code from their first payment; renewals do not hand out new ones.
When the codes run out, the product shows as sold out. You get an email when five or fewer are left, and if a paid buyer finds none free.
Can the shop open access in Zapier or Make?
Yes. In Shop settings, Connect an app takes a Zapier "Catch Hook" URL or a Make "Custom webhook" URL; other hosts are refused. Fianto then sends two events as flat JSON:
purchase.: once per purchase, when it is paid.paid subscription.: once, when a subscription bought in the shop ends.ended
Each carries the shop, the product, the price, the amount paid, the buyer email, the order id, the subscription id, the interval, and the time it was paid or ended. "Send a test" sends a sample marked as a test, so you can map the fields. The events cover shop purchases only, never payment links or API sales, and an app connected later is not sent what happened before. There is no event for a past-due renewal here, so in Zapier or Make access closes at the end.
With a server, you get more. Shop sales run through a hidden application named Shop in Developers; it cannot hold API keys, but you can set its webhook URL and receive every checkout and subscription event, with metadata. set to "shop" and an order id that starts with shop_. Webhooks for access covers handling them.
Do shop pages show up in search?
Shop pages can be indexed, and what search engines see is set for you. The shop page takes your merchant name as its title and the tagline in your header as its description. Each product page is titled "Product · Merchant" and described by the first 160 characters of its description. Receipt pages and the editor preview are kept out of search.
There are no SEO settings in the editor and no sitemap. So write a plain product name and a first sentence that says what the buyer gets, and link to the shop from your own site and profiles so it gets found.
What does the shop not do?
| Not available | What to do instead |
|---|---|
| A custom domain | Use <name>.fianto.xyz and link to it from your own site |
| A cart or quantities | Sell bundles as their own product |
| Image, logo or file uploads | Deliver a link to a file you host, or a code |
| Custom HTML, CSS or scripts | Pick a theme, fonts, accent and layouts |
| SEO settings or a sitemap | Write clear names and descriptions |
| Tax calculation | Handle tax outside Fianto |
| A refund button | Send the USDC back from your own wallet |
| Renewal or reminder emails | Email subscribers yourself |
| API access to the shop | Edit it in the dashboard |
Payment is USDC on Solana only. You pay nothing. During the beta there is no Fianto fee; after it, the buyer pays about 0.1 to 0.5% on top of your price. On a one-off purchase the buyer also pays the Solana fee of their transaction, under $0.01. On a subscription they pay a flat 0.01 USDC network fee with each charge today and a little SOL as account rent, shown on the checkout before they sign. Coupons work in shops too: the buyer enters the code on the checkout page, as described in discount codes for USDC payments. A single reusable link for one price, without a shop page, is a USDC payment link.
